My name is Kelcey Schroder and I am currently based in Sioux Falls, SD but will and love to travel. I graduated from Columbia College of Chicago with a BA in Photography in 2009.

Well, if you’d like to know more about me, I have a deep love for my soul dog, Mya, and all animals in general. I have a vast collection of vinyl records, cameras, and plants. I love shooting film, 35mm and 120 format, developing film, and printing in my darkroom when I have time. That’s how I started!

You may have seen me without a camera, but instead, a microphone. I am thankful to have developed a talent for emceeing and hosting events. I have a natural energy, passion and fun that I bring to events. I am available for hire— Check out some of the events I’ve done in the past and drop me a line. A bit more about me…

My interest in photography began when I was only thirteen years old before the days of digital photography. I photographed 35mm for many years, and learned how to use a black and white enlarger at fifteen. My love for film and silver gelatin prints has not left, and I am currently building a fine art site and will be selling prints at various events and online. Watch for those details soon.

I would also like to invite anyone that has an interest in film photography, no matter what level or even if you have a camera or not, please join our Sioux Falls Film Photographers group. We meet monthly—nerd out about cameras, film, sales, ideas, and even do film walks together to enjoy film photography. We help each other and even sell or lend equipment to each other.
